Syl is a stool by Studio Bas van der Veer for Dutch funiture label Pilat&Pilat, unveiled during IMM Cologne 2015 at Design Post.

The stool comes in several beautiful solid wood types such as oak and walnut and is finished with a contrasting top. The legs are designed to have exceptionally large contact surfaces, resulting in an incredibly strong and sturdy stool that will last for years and years. Syl is handmade in the Pilat&Pilat factory in Bosnia, using an efficient combination of traditional craftsmanship and digital production techniques. The design is produced, distributed and sold by Pilat&Pilat. Prices start from EUR 269,00.
